Stella Artois.....

Leuven is famous in that it is the home of the Stella  Artois  brewery. As soon as  we arrived in town we took a stroll past it and narrowly  missed the only tour that would've worked for our schedule (and that was in English).  Needless to  say  Tim drank  Stella  continually while we were in Leuven and I learned that it's the high octane stuff: 5% alcohol  by volume (instead of the 4% available  elsewhere). He even talked me into drinking one Stella with him because  we were in Leuven, Belgium, of all places and I needed to have a beer! I relented and choked it down but I can't say that I enjoyed the  taste.  Hmm. I'll stick with my  Kriek "near beer". In the photo Tim caught me laughing.  :)
