Book love....

One Summer. Another stunner by Bill Bryson recounting the goings-on in the US during the summer of 1927. Admittedly, I'm no history buff, even when it comes to US history, so I found it very interesting. From Charles Lindbergh to Babe Ruth to Al Capone Bryson deftly ties together an point in history where both television and radio came into their own, work began on Mount Rushmore and the Great Mississippi flood devastated close to 30,000 square miles of land. And that's just the short list. A must-read.
